memoirs....

Denis Waitley:
Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.

Soo true....This thought was not belived by me untill my bday arrived......

Me being a pessimistic always had some negative thoughts overpowering my mind .......

On my bday too i never expected anyone to call me..at the stroke of twelve.... but to my joy i not only received messages but also calls frm my dear and near ones....

The next day..... i having planned to have a party in the hotel was wondering of wat my friends would give me....whether i would like it or not!!!!

But here tooo my hopes were not defalcated and i recevied books from my friends as gifts...the ones wich i couldnt get in the library......they took the pains of searching them for me......

It was the first time in my life that i had experienced joy of receiving gifts from my dear and near ones.......

The day was exceptionally good coz i received calls frm my long forgotten friends...and people who live far away......

Few days later i met my classes friends..i had ruined their plans...for the party, as i had my classes unexpectingly....but to my delight here tooo i had an enormous surpise waiting for me.....

I received a watch a lovely pendent(whiich i tresure the most) and a ring.....all of my favorites....

Receving unexpected gifts was not reason of my happines.. the actual cause was the love and blessings i recived from my family and all by dear friends..... i have tresured these memories which vill never by erased.......

This undoubtedly became my best birthday calebrations in my knowledge......

when i recalled the quote said byThomas Jefferson:

Friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life; and thanks to a benevolent arrangement of things, the greater part of life is sunshine.

Phew!!!!

Government offices have earned the sobriquet of the most slow departments. they live up to their nicknames. few days back I had an opportunity ( highly ironical) to visit the government telephone department in concern of my internet connection. having a plan which provides for a minimum of 400 mbs free of monthly usage, I was intrgued, on inquiring, when my monthly usage was being shown NIL even though it was being regularly used by me......But when the bill for the next month was handed to me i was petrified on having the bill in my hand which should have been merely 200 shoot up to 1000 bucks...... It was high time now and i had to tackle the matter as fast as possible .... or else it would mean cancellation of my connection by my parents who like me had anticipated the bill to be not more than 300 bucks.....This caused my sojourn of some 3 to 4 hours in the government building..The department of internet broadband connection has its department's head officer on leave for a period God-knows-how much!!!!!!! And the assistants adviced me to check the matter with the department which was concerned (so to say) with the charges, billing, etc. Being in their territory i was harmles to them for time being and had to go by their rules....so i had to keep mum and listen to their surmones stating that it wasnt their problem for i wasnt registered with them...........This came to me as an entirely breaking news.... Finally having climbed some 40 stepf for the hundredth time( the lift in the happening building was on a summer break...and an advice...to neone who wants an exercise go to the government office ..the people will make you go here and there so many times that you will be surprised to see yourself exerting as when u do 50 pushups and some considerable exercises), I got my matter straightened........ Phew!!!!
I stepped out of the building vowing never to return there....
